The Series "simulators" - is a series of colourful imaginative ceramic 'machines' composed of castings of garbage found in cointainers at mechanics or other workshops. I use well-known objects in a different context, and give them new life.

I compose 'the machines' with real cables and precise molds of outlet which make them lifelike. Not until you push the buttons and turn the knobs, you discover that it's ceramics. In that way I trick the eye of the beholder, and raises doubts about the perception of reality.

'The machines' simulate that they can do something, that they in some way have a function.
