Copenhagen based artist Rose Marie Brøgger is a graduate from the Graphic Arts College in Denmark. She works in acrylic paintings on canvas and in digital art printmaking.
Brøgger’s work has themes of transcendence, spirituality, existence, materiality and phenomena. She explores earthly objects and surreal supernatural objects in a simplistic dreamlike yet powerful imagery.
The motives often have the character of being material or composed of matter.
She presents a complex understanding and respect for the elements surrounding us. She has a way of portraying an object that makes it absurd in spite of its actual existence.
