"The painting is one of the outcomes of an experiment that I have carried out since 2016. While working in the studio I have a clean primed canvas laying on the studio floor. After some time, the canvas becomes dirty, absorbing all that has been going on in the studio - paints, stains, footprints, spilled coffee, etc. It is a diary of the creative process. After placing the canvas on the strecher I have used the traces, to create the painting with a ship."
