A View from In Between IV

The works from the series "A View from In Between" are from the site-specific exhibition in 2018, which was based on Knippelsbro and Kulturtårnet in Copenhagen. A place located between two districts; Inner Copenhagen and Amager. A location in between; different views, different attitudes towards the surrounding architecture.

Both the location, construction, materials and function of the site have been processed and interpreted into digital graphic collages, which in its composition consist of processed real photos, drawings and map material. The place is represented, but in its own way through the work, which lies somewhere between the realistic and the fictional.

Currently based in Copenhagen, danish architect and visual artist Tina Louise Hunderup works in a cross-field between architecture and fine art. A focus on spacial elements and multiple layers, inspired by temporary architectural constructions, and abandoned industrial buildings in decay, characterise her artworks.

In her praxis are objects and elements with pure functional qualities and history of use, processed and transformed to motifs of aesthetic value, producing new identities and meanings. This is beeing done through combining it with other media, through the specific composition or colour choice.

Working with cross-disciplinary skills such as photography, digital drawing, painting and sculpturing, Tina Louise explores the quality in letting the different media interact in a ´visual blend´of fragmentation and dynamical forms.
